Jacob and Jody recognised early on that job seekers and rangatahi entering the workforce need more than a referral — they need bespoke support and navigation services that walk them right through the door and beyond.
In 2018–2019, Jacob partnered with MSD to introduce almost 100 new kaimahi into sustainable career pathways in community support work. The programme focused on Māori and Pasifika — connecting people to a lifelong career, not just a short-term placement.
With strong home support experience, cross-sector industry knowledge and deep whanaungatanga across communities, IC Mahi is confident that every cohort we support will rapidly gain employment.
